17. Investigation and Prosecution of Case :
(1) The police shall investigate the case which is punishable pursuant to this Act and after investigation the
police shall file the case before the Adjudicating Authority.
(2) In the course of investigation and prosecution pursuant to Sub- section (1), police may seek the opinion of the government attorney.
